Our kōwhai motif, reimagined as Kōwhai Mosaic, with a full-colour background, tessellated into a balanced, formal repeat. This pattern sold out in earlier iterations and returns now on a new textured organic cotton base cloth, with the centre hanging loop and mitred corners you'd expect from every Ali Davies tea towel.
The design champions native flora and formal geometry — kōwhai's loose, hanging blooms broken down and pieced back together into a tight, tile-like repeat, giving the whole cloth the quality of a hand-laid mosaic. Simple, but precise.

Print: Digital, eco-friendly water-based pigments and dyes. Designed in Aotearoa and Made in India.
Care: Wash separately before first use. Dry naturally where possible. Do not bleach.
